2006 Sugar Creek Speedway Track Rules
1. The following rules are guidelines for conducting the race events at Sugar Creek Speedway. We will try to the best of our ability to cover as much information as possible. We know that we will overlook some things. When these things come up we will deal with them in a fair and timely manner. 2. Any driver stopping on the racing surface before completion of the first lap to bring out the caution flag will be put to the rear or penalized one lap, at the discretion of the flag man. 3. Any cars that are involved in any accident that brings out the red or yellow flag will be lined up at the rear of the field. These cars will line in the order that which they return to the field. 4. Insubordination of any type will result in fines, loss of winnings and points and will be subject to suspension and arrest, including, but not limited to: a- Rough driving, deliberate contact during caution laps, during race or contact after race has been completed. b- Un-sportsman like conduct, cursing, fighting, arguing, throwing objects, Loud and abusive language toward track officials. c- Any person found with any weapon on him or his vehicle is also subject to arrest. d- Disorder conduct will not be allowed at payoff. e- Subject any employee or official to improper or abusive language or profane signs. f- Inappropriate type of behavior detrimental to Sugar Creek Speedway will subject the driver(s) and/or crew member(s) to disqualification, suspension and ejection; at the discretion of the track officials. g- Penalty will be at the official's discretion. 5. Each driver entering into the race must have an entry fee paid per car. Car can compete in only one division per night. unless OK by the officials. 6. Starts: ALL DIVISIONS will line up side by side for the start of the heat or main event. The inside pole car will set the pace. The flagman will start the race with a green flag. NO passing or attempting to pass until the green flag drops. One (I) lap must be completed under green for the race to be under way. Anyone jumping 1st time will be warned, 2nd time will be put in rear, 3rd time will be put offthe track. 7. Interpretation of rules and decision of speedway officials will be finial in all cases, any situation not covered by this rule book officials decisions will be fmal. 8. Any driver who desires to drop back to a lower division must have track approval before competing. No one can drop back in Street Stock 4, Young Guns, or Renegade. 9. When two (2) cars cross the finish line at the same time, the inside car will be declared the winner. 10. In ALL DIVISIONS, after heat races, the first three (3) cars in finishing order must go to the scales to be weighed and for visual inspection. In ALL DIVISIONS, after the main event the top five (5) cars will be sent to the scales and inspected, All others car must go to there pit area as soon as there race is over, or will be disqualified. 11. Tech Inspector will disqualify any car on any item found illegal after the race from front to rear of car. The following items but not limited to, wheels, tires, bodies, spoilers, fenders, protruding breather, fire walls, cages, battery and fuel cell placement, weight of cars, etc. 12. Interpretation of Sugar Creek Speedway rules and decisions made by the speedway officials will be fmal, in all cases. If anyone has any questions about a rule(s) they should ask the technical inspector. His ruling will be final. The officials will have the final say.
13. Drivers information forms will be given out at the beginning of the year. Each driver is responsible for filling out this form. It will contain all information needed for 1099. Driver or Owner will be responsible for the taxes from his or her winnings. This form must be filled out before you can receive any winnings. If you drive different cars during the season you will need to fill out a form for each car unless you are the one who will receive the 1099. 14. Only driver or owner can pick up prize money. 15. All prize money must be picked up at payout window day or night of race activity. Failure to pick up money on night of race will result in forfeit of winning. No exceptions. 16. Three feature wins in a row in any division the driver or car must start his next race ftom the rear. Special events are the exception, and the following event will have the car starting ftom the rear. 17. Anyone getting out of his or her car on the track to argue with an official for any reason. 1st time offense will be disqualified for that'night .2nd offense will be disqualified for 2 weeks. 3rd offense disqualified for the year. 18. Onlv drivers and official are allowed in the infield during the race. Anyone crossing track or going to infield during race will be escorted off the property for that night and that car and driver will be disqualified for that night no exception. 19. No driver, crewmember, family member will be allowed to go to the Top of Tower or entering the Flagman stand without permission. To argue will be fined minimum $150.00 at official's discretion, the driver will be disqualified for the night. The fine will have to be paid before anyone can come back. 20. Any driver or crewmember, crossing track other than a protest will be disqualified for the night. Only 2,people to be at protest area. 21. Any driver or crewmember going to another drivers pit to argue or fight will be disqualified for the night, will lose points and money. 22. Racing fuel only. Like tnrbo blue 110. no additives. Must pass track test. 23. Championship awards will be picked up by the driver only the night of ceremony. If driver is not present he will lose his position, the next driver up will receive that award. 24. The management has the rights to refuse entry to any car or person without question. 25. Stock means that you cannot modify this part, If the rules don't say you can, then you can't. 26. MANDATORY: Fire Retardant driver uniform, four-point harness and fire extinguisher required, window net, helmet. If caught at anytime without one of these items. You will not run that date and forfeit all points and money. 27. All cars must have chain in ftont and rear for hook up.

GM Late Model Crate
|

|
1. Body: All body rules will like late model rules but will have a 3" min from all max. Measurements. Rear of car may be open, not extend over 76 inches, which is maximum width. Rear Bumper may not extend past 1/2 width of rear tire, or may have 90 degree turn and stay within rear quarter. Front push bar is not to exceed width of chassis, may brace. Rear spoiler, 8 inch max. (NO Tolerance) and 45" maximum height from ground. See diagram. There will be 1 - inch tolerance on all body parts. You may run Ford, GM, Dodge, etc. 2. CHASSIS & SUSPENSION: MINIMUM 104" WITH 1" TOLERANCE. YOU MAY USE A STOCK FRAME OR UNlBODY OR STOCK FRONT SNOUT AND TUBING REAR. STOCK FRAMES MUST USE STOCK LOWER A FRAMES. TUBULAR UPPER A FRAMES ANY LENGTH MAYBE USED ON ANY FRAME. YOU MAY USE ANY SHOCK (NO COILOVERS on T&L cars). SCREW JACKS OK. REAR SUSPENSION *(Leaf spring only on T&L cars Sliders OK). WIDE FIVE FRONT HUBS OK May change spindles any sway bar stock or after market OK All other tront end components must be stock no modifications (Crate engine cars Chassis: Wheel base of 101 inch minimum. Suspension. Any.) 3. Rear End: Any 4. Brakes: Any (Any Pedals). 5. Wheels: 14"Any Offset. 6. Tires: Hoosier 55 Track Tire, 11 x 92 or 90 x 17.5. Must have trademark bar & punch 60 before race & 55 after race (ALL TIRES ARE SUBJECT TO BE BROKEN DOWN). 7. Drive Shaft: Any. (MUST HAVE LOOP AROUND FRONT OF DRNESHAFT) 8. Transmission: Any. must have working reverse 9. Engine Set Back (Crate motor cars 6" SETBACK GM) T&L cars #lsparkplug even with top ball joint. No tolerance. 10. Fuel: Turbo blue 110 racin!!!!as only, must pass track test. (FUEL PROTEST $50) 11. Weight: 2800 for T&L cars (Any car with 604 crate engine 24001bs. and 602 crate engine 22001bs.) ENGINE SPECS: Must match make of car, Chevrolet for Chevrolet, Ford for Ford, Etc. 365 Max cid. or GM crate motor part # 88958604 & 88958602 ONLY (350 factory stock circle track engine - 88958604 & 88958602 only) all crate motors are sealed and must remain sealed and can not be altered in anyway. *Block: Cast iron OEM only (no Bowtie or SVO). May plug, or install vent pipes, or screens. NO valley pan. may plug deck & redrill water holes. Maximum cylinder bore of .080" *Crank: Stock with GM part # with stock stroke. May balance (drill hole or weld) 50 pounds minimum weight (cast crank 48 pounds). NO polishing or lightening of counterweights or throws. *Rods: Any steel rods. NO aluminw:i1 or titanium rods. *Pistou: Any flat top Eyebrows legal. *Oil Pan: Stock, may modify any oil pan. Wet Only! *Heads: Stock cast iron OEM, NO Bowtie, Vortex or angle plug heads, may run Double hump. Competition valve job permitted, any angle any depth, all angles must be concentric with valve guide, May have.750-hand blend &om top of 45 degree 7/8 will be wrong. Screw In studs and guide plates OK! Roller Rockers are permitted. *Valve: Any Stock diameter valve permitted. Valve may have under cut stem 2.02" (intake) and 1.6" (exhaust) valve sizes are allowed. *Valve Spring: Any single or double. *Retainers: Any valve spring retainers allowed.
*Cam: Any Hydraulic or solid flat tappet. Lifter stock Diameter only! *Lifter: Stock diameter NO roller lifter. "'Intake: OEM Bowtie cast iron intake, or any aluminum, as casted. NO modifications. *Fuel Pump: Stock only. *Carburetor: BOX Stock 750 Holley (# 4779) OR 650 (4777) *Ignition: Stock, may have chip. Any wires (MSD boxes OK Buyout rule on box $350). *Header: OK! Any standard 4 in to 1 collector (NO try-V's). ENGINE CLAIM: Claimer rule on crate motor only $4850 track will keep $50. *Engine will be received with accessories as supplied trom GM. *Only highest fmishing crate engine may be claimed. *Only driver on the same lap can claim. *Ifmore than one person claims, the driver finishing the farthest back gets 1st choice. CARBURA TOR CLAIM: Claimer rule on Carburetor $450. Ttack will keep $25 *Winner only may be claimed. *Only driver on the same lap can be claim winner. *If more than one person claims the winner the driver finishing the farthest back gets 1st choice. Track will over see all claims any unsportsman like conduct will not be tolerated. No grudge claims will be allowed. All motors claimed will be inspected, broke bolts or any other sabotaged parts and will be handled with fines or ejection trom the track and forfeit all Money and points. NO driver can claim or swan more that 5 times in one season CLAIM REFUSAL: 1st refusal you will forfeit all points and money 2nd refusal you will forfeit all points and money with 2 weeks suspension and a $200 fine that must be paid before you can return. 3rd refusal you will forfeit all points and money with 6 weeks suspension and a $1000 fine that must be paid before you can return. Note: Points loss will affect driver; suspension and fines will affect car and car owner PROTEST: (Two things only) $300 with track retaining $100. PROTEST: Bottom End Only protest $600 with track retaining $100. UNDERHOOD VISUAL PROTEST: $75 Straight fee to look for carb # and tech boosters on the car. (After Heats Only!). Note: Points loss will effect driver; suspension and fines will affect car and car owner.

Limited Sportsman
|

|
1. Stock Autos only, except as stated! 2. Any 1970 or newer American made automobile except station wagons, trucks, jeeps, convertibles. Rear of car must be closed, no holes or flaps. Must have deck lid, after market or homemade OK. Aluminum doors and fenders OK, but must remain stock shape and appearance. After market nosepiece OK. Breather can protrude thought hood. 3. Wheel base: Minimum of 105" 1" tolerance. 4. Weight: 3200 Ibs. with driver after race 5. Tires: American Racer or Hoosier 265 (8.5 max width) Softs or mediums. 6. Wheels: Steel wheels only. No aluminum or magnesium allowed. 8" maximum width. Bead locks on right rear only. 7. Body a) All body panels must remain stock in dimensions and contour. All doors must be welded or bolted securely. cutting for tire clearance is allowed, but it must be neat and not excessive. b) Front inner fenders can be removed. c) All firewall holes must be covered. d) All chrome, headlights, and taillights must be removed and holes covered, door handles included. e) Max. 6" spoiler on rear deck. f) Exterior mirrors OK. g) Radiator must be in stock position. h) Stock dash can be replaced with neat sheet metal dash. i) Must have Full firewall. j) May tie front and rear suspension together. 8. Engines: a) Any OEM stock size engine with flat top pistons .Stock type fuel pump Eyebrows legal. b) Rods: No aluminum or titanium rods. stock Any steel rod No profiled ,or polished beams c) Crank: Stock OEM crankshafts. No knife edging or lightening cranks, etc. Steel Crank, minimum weight=50Ibs. Cast crank minimum weight 481bs. NO stroking or destroking engines. d) Heads: No angle plug heads on Chevrolets. Stock OEM heads only. No Vortec heads! Any size diameter valve springs Screw in studs and guide plates legal. Roller rocker arms legal. Any steel or titanium retainer. e) Intakes: Stock cast iron. No port or polishing heads or intake. %-blend legal. Chevrolet engines with less than 363CI may run bowtie cast iron intake. May run any Aluminum intake, (No modifications) f) Carburetor: Holley 650cfm #0-4777. No modifications. May run 2" spacer with no more then (2) .070" thick gaskets. g) Valves: Steel valves only. Chevrolet max. Valve size 2.020 intake, 1.600 exhaust. Stock stem diameter. h) Oil pan: After market oil pan legal. No dry sumps allowed i) Carn: Solid lift flat tappet cam. Maximum .500 lift at valve checked with .025 lash j) Stud Girdle legal k) Engine Specs- Max 365 CD! GM Crate motor #88958604 350 factory stock circle track engine. sealed crate motor only. Cannot be altered in any way. Must weigh 2900 lb.'s. 9. Clutches: Triple disc clutch is OK. Must have stock automatic OEM flywheel. Minimum 5" diameter clutch. No carbon fiber. 10. Transmissions: Must be stock with at least one each working forward and reverse gear. 11. Engines: Must be mounted in stock location. Number one spark plug in line or in front of top ball joint. No tolerance, 12. Ignition: Any stock OEM. Brass gear legal. 13. Rear ends: May run 9" ford or floater, Disc brakes, brake adjusters and racing pedal assembly. Cutting of top trailing arms OK for pinion angle. 14. Interiors: Can be boxed in. 15. Top A-arm tube type OK .non adjustable Jacking bolts and screw devices allowed on !Tont. Front shocks may be moved to accommodate jacking bolts. Lowering blocks OK. Adjustable buckets on rear OK 16. Glass: All glass must be removed. Lexan can be used in rear side windows. 17. Upholstery: All upholstery must be removed. 18. Radiators must be reinforced. No bump bars. 19. Doors must be welded closed. 20. Headers legal. 21 Heimjoints on shocks OK. 22. Fuel cell must be mounted inside of trunk with firewall between driver and fuel cell. 23. Wheels may be reinforced for safety. 24. Seat must be securely mounted to ftame and/or roll cage. 25. Fuel: Turbo Blue 110 Only. No additives. Will be check by Track. 26. Cars must have number on side and top. Number must be read !Tom score tower. 27. NOTE: Fords only-Intakes Torker II, Victor Jr. with Aluminum 2 inch spacer plate is legal. 28. Protest any 3 items except bottom $300.00 ,Bottom end $600.00 accepts fee $100.00 track retaining $100.00. Underhood visual protest. $75.00 Straight fee to look for carb number and tech busters on car. (after heats only) 29. Engine Claim: Claimer rule on crate motor only $4,850. Track will keep $50. Engine will be received with accessories as supplied !Tom GM only highest fmishing crate engine may be claimed only driver or same lap can claim. If more than one driver claims the driver finishing furthest back get fIrst choice. Anything not covered or mentioned in the previous rules has to be ruled on when brought up. Track official's decision will be final. The above rules may be amended at any time. If you have any question about a rule or rules, you should ask the technical inspector. Do not just do what you think is right.

1. Stock Autos only, except as stated! 2. Any 1968 or newer American made automobile except station wagons, trucks, jeeps, convertibles, mustang, or other make "Pony" cars. 108" wheel base minimum, plus or minus W'tolerance 3. No altering or channeling of body allowed. Must have full stock floor plan. 4. Trunk area can be cut out. 5. Must have stock fIrewall in original location with all holes fIlled or covered. 6. Must have fIrewall-separating driver from fuel cell and trunk area. Boxing of interior OK. 7. Front inside wheel wells can be cut or removed. 8. Hood and trunk lids bracing can be removed, must be fastened securely at all times. Strap OK. 9. No spoilers, wings, skirts, or anything that alters the stock appearance. 10. Car must be reasonably level ftom side to side and ftont to rear. 11. Front and rear bumpers. Rubber nose OK. 12. Frame and suspensions: a) Frame must be OEM for make and model. b) No altering or shortening of frame. Front and rear suspension must be in stock position. c) Adjustable or non-adjustable spring buckets allowed. d) Leaf or coil springs can be changed to stronger leafs or coils of the same type. Lowering blocks OK. e) Cutting of coil spring allowed. Rubber shims on rear coils OK. f) Any stock type shock mounted in original position. g) No reinforcing of any suspension parts. h) Heavy-duty OEM steering and suspension parts, Tube type A-arm TOP ONLY non adjustable. i) Racing removable steering wheel allowed and recommended. 13. Engines: Maximum engine size 400 cubic inches plus .060 over bore. No big blocks allowed. a) Any OEM head except 461, 461X, 492 castings. No Vortec heads! Valve size Chevy head 2.020 intake 1.600 exhaust. Stock type and size valves and springs only. Screw in studs and guide plates 3/8 or 7/16 Roller rockers b) Any engine over 365 Cubic inches must have low compression heads with low compression (dish) pistons with 2 valve reliefs. Max. 060 overbore. 350 CI plus .060 overbore can use flat top 4 valve relief pistons. Big oil pan ok (Can not cut cross member or ftame for clearance.) c) Any 5.7 stock appearing rods, No profIled ,or polished beams d) Exhaust: Stock cast iron exhaust or headers. e) Engines must be mounted in original location. If location cannot be determined, the 2 inches from center ball joint to #1 plug will be used. f) Stock type fuel pump Engines must be self-starting. NO magnetos g) stock appearing rods no polishing h) Valve cover breather allowed. i) Stock cast iron intake only. No bowtie j) Cam: Any solid or hydraulic cam. Max .425 lift checked at .025 lash. k) Carburetor: Quadrate jet only. No modifications except choke flap removal. No removal of choke horn. Any air cleaner must not protrude through hood. 14. Drive train: a) No automatic transmission. 3 or 4 speed cast iron transmission with stock steel flywheel and stock type clutch and pressure plate (minimum 10 W') 141bs flywheel minimum. Sttaight drive transmission cars must have blow proof bell housing or scatter shield of 1/8" steel. b) Transmissions must have ALL working forward and reverse gears .No lighting of any way Hydraulic clutch OK. Drive shaft stock for model of car. No automatic transmission. c) A "u" or square type safety loop on front of drive shaft is mandatory. Must be 1/8 thick and 1 Yz inches wide. d) GM 10 or 12 bolt rear end" 9" Ford rear end ,stock axles, drum brakes, stock shock location, any gear ratio allowed. NO disc brakes. e) Cutting of top trailing arms OK for pinion angle. f) Locked or limited slip rear ends allowed. 15. Tires, street type DOT tires 70 series radials. 16. No racing tires with DOT numbers. 17. Wheels: Steel 14 or IS-inch (all must be same size) wheels with maximum width of eight inches measured ITom lip to lip (.25" tolerance). Wheels may be reinforced. Large wheel studs allowed and recommended. 18. Roll Cage: Must meet rules in roll cage section. a) All cars must have 4 post cage with forward and rear bracing. Hoop bar around radiator is OK. b) Can extend through fITewall. c) All parts of the roll cage must be within the confines of the car body 19. Brakes: Four Wheel hydraulic brakes in good working order are mandatory. All brake components except linings must be stock. No brake adjusters allowed inside car or within reach of driver. 20. Racing fuel: No additives 110 Turbo Blue Only. Must pass Tracks spec. 21. Weight: 34001bs with driver after race. 22. Weight may be added for competition purposes. 23. NOTE: Anything not covered or mentioned in this rulebook has to be ruled on when brought up. Track official has final say. 24. Protest any 3 items except bottom $300.00, Bottom end $600.00 accepts fee $100.00 track retaining $100.00.

Super Stock Four
|
|
|
1. Body; Stock appearing auto only. May have aluminium or steel top, quarter panels and deck lid. Inner panel may be removed; must have stock front firewall in stock location and floor pan. Must have rear firewall or driver compartment must be boxed in. Rear of car must be closed (no holes or flaps) and must run deck lid. Aluminum doors and fenders okay; must retain stock shape and appearance; aftermarket nose okay. Must run hood; may have a 2" hood scoop, must be boxed in. Must run rear deck lid. No ground effects or skirts. 2. Chassis; Must have roll cage and all safety equipment. Rollcage must be secured to unibody; may tie chassis together on top of floor pan only. 3. Suspension: Must be stock suspension. No screw jacks. Lowering blocks okay; adjustable cups okay (springs must be in stock location) may run spring buckets, caster and camber plates okay; racing shocks okay; must be in stock location on stock mounts. May change pinion angle. 4. Rear End: Any stock up to 8.8 for make of car NO gun drilled axles. No spools. Housing cannot be modified for gear clearance. Ring Gear can be lightened. 5. Brakes: 4-wheel stock for make of car; any pedals. NO adjustments in reach of driver. No 3 wheel brakes. No cut off valve on car. 6. Wheels: Any steel 7". May be reinforced. Large wheel studs okay. 7. Tires: Will be H23.0 or 22.5 x 215 RC4, RCI, RCO only 8. Driveshaft; 1 and 1/2" OD or larger steel. Must be painted white, with car number on it. 9. Transmission: Stock; must have forward & rear working gears. Must have safety loop. 10. Flywheel: Stock flywheel must weigh 16 lb. Must have stock or stock replacement clutch and pressure plate. Stud for pressure plate OK. Cannot relocate bolt hole pattern. 11. Engine Location: Stock. No engine set back! 12. Fuel; Racing Fuel only, no additives and must pass track test. Fuel tank must be mounted inside of trunk. (Like Turbo Blue 110) 13. Weight: 1 pound per CC, (2000 lb. minimum) Car's CC must be posted on hood. Must have correct CC for the engine you are running. *Formula for cc's Bore x Bore x .7854 x Stroke x 4 == cid. Then divide cid into .061 (Tech man will allow 5ccs for wear only) 14. Engine Specs - No rotary or turbo or double OHC permitted. (No vacuum Pumps) *Block: OEM only .080 over max bore. "'Crank: Stock crank, Stock stroke. (Crank may be lighten but must be a stock crank) * Rods: Any steel * Piston: Any flat top. Toyota 1600 & 1800 may run dome of .267 tall only. * Oil Pan: Any wet. * Heads: OEM may be changed from one size engine to another. May have competition valve job, any angle, and any depth. Must not touch bottom of valve boss. All angles must be concentric with valve guide. * Valve; Any steel valve stock diameter may be undercut stem. * Valve Springs: Doubles OK. Must be steel * Retainers: Any steel * Cam: Max. Lift .425 with .025 lash at valve for solid and 0 lash for hydraulic * Lifter: Stock diameter (Solid OK) * Intake: OEM only; may bore straight down for clearance, no radius or blending. No fuel injection manifolds except for Chevrolet. May modify for carburetor, but must be approved before the race. * Fuel Pump: Stock or electric * Carburetor: Stock carburetor or Holley 350 CFM (#7448 or 0-80787-1). Must have air horn with #, may cut end of screw, no thinning of shafts; no grinding or polishing * Spacer & Adapter: Any 1" max thick together. NO TOLERENCE! 2 gaskets @ .070 thick max ea. * Ignition: Stock or MSD will be OK * Exhaust system: Headers OK. 15. PROTEST (3 things only) $300 with track retaining $100. 16. Bottom end only $400 with track retaining $100

YOUNG GUN AGE 13--15 One (l) Ib per cc. 1. Stock Autos only, except as stated! 2. Any American or foreign 1970 or later 4-cylinder car allowed except as stated: No trucks, convertibles, or station wagons. 2 wheel drive cars only. No turbo or fuel injection cars. No multi- carburetor engines. No rotary, mid, or rear engine, or Cosworth engine cars.. No engine with more than two (2) valves per cylinder. 3. Engine must be stock. No to exceed 2500 cc. (.030) overbore permitted 4. No altering of car, this means any part of car, front bumper or rear bumper unless it is stated in these rules. All hood and trunk hinges can be removed. 5. The only modifications allowed: a) After market front and rear bumper covers may be used. b) All headlights and taillights must be removed with all holes covered. c) Battery can be relocated but must be mounted in an enclosed box that has been securely mounted to the floor pan of car with two straps 1/8" thick and 1-1/2" wide that are across the top of the box and also secured to the floor pan with 1/2" bolts. d) Fuel cell required. Must meet rules for fuel cell. Cutting of hole in trunk is OK, but must not be more than is necessary to mount fuel cell. e) Dash may be removed. Must have fabricated dash. f) Cutting of interior body panels OK. Should not be excessive. g) Door panels can be removed for roll cage. h) Hoop bar OK around radiator. i) Hood and deck lid can be gutted. 6. Wheels: Any 7" steel wheel or factory steel wheels. No multi-carburetor engines. No rotary, mid, rear engine, or Cosworth engine cars. No engine with more than two (2) valves per cylinder. 3. Engine must be stock. Not to exceed 2500 cc. Car must weigh 1 lb. per cc. of engine displacement, 2000 lb minimum. Any steel rods, stock crank, no lighting. All engines must be stock or as stated: Aluminum cam gear or pulley allowed. Cam .425 max. Lift at .025 valve lash. Stock carburetor for make and model or Holley 350 CFM (#7448 or 0-80787-1). Only 1/2 in, spacer plate with one thin gasket. Stock cast iron exhaust manifold. No factory header. Clutch, pressure plate must be stock may cut fly wheel 161b mim. Any stock production head. No porting or polishing. Competition (3) angle valve job permitted. No hand blending under valve. Stock diameter valves and springs. Any steel rods. No Vacuum pumps. 4. Brakes must be stock. No brake adjusters, no drilled rotors or drums. No 3 wheel brakes. No cut off valve on car. 5. Suspension: Caster and camber plate OK, may cut lower A Frame for caster camber adjustment. 6. No altering of car, this means any part of car, front bumper or rear bumper unless it is stated in these rules. All hood and trunk hinges can be removed. May run homemade body with factory steel roof. Quarter panels may be home made BUT must be steel with factory body lines. Hoods may be aluminum but must be closed at rear. a) After market front and rear bumper covers may be used. b) All headlights and taillights must be removed with all holes covered. c) Battery can be relocated but must be mounted in an enclosed box that has been securely mounted to the floor pan of car with two straps 1/8" thick and 1-1/2" wide that are across the top of the box and also secured to the floor pan with W' bolts. d) Fuel cell required. Must meet rules for fuel cell. Cutting of hole in trunk is OK, but must not be more than is necessary to mount fuel cell. e) Dash may be removed. Must have fabricated dash. £) Cutting of interior body panels OK. Should not be excessive. g) Door panels can be removed for roll cage. h) Hoop bar OK around radiator. i) Hood and deck lid can be gutted. 7. Wheels: Any 7" steel wheel or factory steel wheels.
