Ricky Jones is a graduate of Boiling Springs High
School. He is employeed at Burgess Automotive. Ricky
started racing in the middle of the season of 1999 at Harris Speedway
in Harris, NC. He ran the Jones Racing #72 in pure stock
and Thunder Bombers. The team is also competing
in the 4-door slammer class at Harris Speedway
He raced the full season of 2000 at Harris, capturing 5th place in the points. Ricky also raced a limited season at Buffalo Speedway in the pure stock and bomber divisions. He finished 9th in the points in pure stock. He will be starting the 2001 season at Buffalo running limited sportsman. Ricky also hopes to compete some at Sugar Creek Speedway and Harris Speedway.
