Tesser Tops TV's Limited Sportsman Action

Lawndale, NC -October 22, 2004 - Kevin Tessner roared to the
wave of the Checkered flag on this Friday evening in the season ending
finale at Thunder valley Speedway in the Limited Sportsman action. Tessner held off Scott Tessner for the big payday. Hard Charging Bobby Howard settled for third place followed by Russell Williford and Ronnie Vasseer.
Shannon Barnhill topped the Street Stock 4 feature out running
Russell Falls and Brandon Barnhill. Jerry Oliver finished fourth with Robbie Head fifth in the rundown. .
The Stock 4 showdown saw Trent Chatman chalk up anther victory
over Jonathan Sarratt and Shawn Cook. Robbie Medlin was fourth with Rick Evans fifth.
Heath Williams roared to the Renegades class top honors as he held at bay Ricky Hines at the finish line. Hot shoe Kenneth Deese settled for third on this night on the half mile clay oval. David king ran fourth with CB Pritchard rounding out the top five finishers. The OSAS 50 lapper paying $5,000 to win the 6th Annual Grassy Smith memorial show saw Dennis Franklin of Gaffney, SC take the money and run. Jeff Smith of Kings Mountain ran second with Charleston's Steve Lucas third. Gray Court's Chris Madden finished fourth with Tim Headen of Martin, GA. fifth in the 24 car field. 4 Time event winner Freddy Smith finished ninth and 2004 Clash champion Ricky Weeks ran tenth. Clint Smith ran sixth followed by 2004 OSAS Points leader Shane Tankersley ran seventh with Gary Mabe of Danbury eighth. 2003 Clash Champion Ed Basey of Augusta, GA finished 12 and OSAS second place points runner in 2004 Jeff Cooke of Spartanburg ran 13th for the night.
